Photography has always been a part of my life. Award-winning artist, with exhibitions in Paris and Vancouver, a film awarded in the United States, and the author of a book – my artistic approach highlights the human experience in all its vulnerability. What I love most about my work is telling a story. Turning intimate moments into unforgettable visual narratives. Fascinated about the metamorphosis of the maternal body and the mother-child bond, I photograph several women in their intimacy, seeking beauty while documenting their daily lives. This project will last for more than a year and will be exhibited in Paris as part of the Festival La Quinzaine de l’image in 2019. In 2021, I accept to photograph a home birth without any prior experience in this field. A day spent documenting the birth of Léonie, which remains, to this day, the most beautiful experience of my entire career as a photographer. One of the photographs would become the official poster for the International Congress Against Obstetric Violence. Since then, I strive to create something beautiful while documenting the preciousness and raw emotion of these moments.
