Hi, I'm Cathlene with Azara Images! I have been documenting quiet moments of grace and beauty for over two decades. In that time, I have learned to make beautiful images in any condition. From the whispers of an intimate home birth to the collective excitement and activity of a hospital birth, I have refined my ability to be present and calm for my clients during the most important moments of their lives. I am a “Birth Becomes Her” certified birth photographer, having trained under the fabulous birth photographers and teachers of the “Birth Becomes Her” network, Monet Nicole and Jennifer Mason. My style can be described as photojournalistic, genuine & classically beautiful. At the end of a birth, I'm always told that I was revernt, easy to work with, and an integral and loving part of my client’s birth team. I offer birth photography, maternity, fresh 48, breastfeeding and lifestyle newborn sessions in the Northern California Foothills, the Sacramento Valley, the greater Bay Area & beyond. I document births as far away as 4 hours from my home and, to date; have never missed a birth.
