Hi, I'm Carla, and I am so glad you are here.  I am a mom, a wife, a world traveler, an animal lover, a horror movie enthusiast, a foodie, and an adventurer. I was born and raised in Northern Virginia, in a Washington, DC suburb. I am passionate about human rights, inclusivity, and informed consent. My love for birth started at a young age, but it wasn't until I birthed my daughter that I found my passion. I believe that everyone's pregnancy journey and birth story matters. You will carry your experience with you for the rest of your life. As a doula and birth photographer, it is my responsibility to support families, advocate when necessary, and document the beautiful moments of birth.  I also specialize in maternity, newborn, and fresh 48 sessions.
