Heather White is a DONA International and Carriage House Birth trained, award-winning doula and professional birth photographer. Since 2011, Heather has doula'ed and documented hundreds of births throughout all of NYC, New Jersey, and Long Island. According to ELLE Magazine, Heather is "NYC's leading vagina photographer that's not shooting porn." Ha!Heather is a calm, nurturing, reassuring presence. She sees her role as more than just someone to assist with birth, but instead as the person responsible for helping a family transition into parenthood, all while gorgeously documenting this process. She has experience supporting families at home, birth centers, and hospitals, while also supporting people who are high-risk, including twins and VBAC.Heather lives with her family in Red Hook, Brooklyn where she is the mother of two amazing children. She not only offers support, guidance, and comfort to parents-to-be, but also brings her creative spirit to the process with her great skill at photographing human nature at its peaks.
