About

My passion for photography began in childhood when I asked my mom for a camera one Christmas. I became the photographer for my high school yearbook, developing all the photos myself in the darkroom. My early career involved years of work in photo labs and darkrooms, eventually leading to a business in Hollywood, CA, where I rented equipment to professional photographers and worked as a photo assistant.  Over the years, my life took many paths, some quite challenging. I got married and had three kids, often finding myself too busy raising them to devote much time to photography. However, my love for capturing moments never faded. 

A few years ago, I purchased a new camera and, with my husband’s support, quit my full-time job to pursue photography professionally. I initially started shooting CrossFit events but soon realized another niche called to me. I was inspired by the incredible birth photos I'd seen years ago and decided to offer my services to a local birth center. I fell in love with birth photography instantly. I even had the privilege of photographing two of the midwife's grandbabies' births soon after.  Since then, I have been closely associated with the birth center, capturing countless birth stories. Each birth is a profoundly moving experience for me, and I still find myself in tears at every one.

Through my lens, I tell the stories of these beautiful moments, providing families with cherished memories. In addition to birth photography, I also capture maternity and newborn photos. 

Every day, I pinch myself because I truly have the best job in the world. I get to witness the miracle of life and the joy it brings to families.
